Lighting my first fire

STEP 1
Use natural firelighters or paper.

STEP 2
Place a handful of dry kindling on top, then light the fire starter or paper.

STEP 3
After a few seconds, place small pieces of dry wood (beech, oak, ash, etc.).
(Do not use pallet wood)

STEP 4
Leave the door open 1cm to 2cm until the fire is even.

STEP 5
Close the door and open the draught.
Turn on the heat until the desired temperature is reached (recommended 180 to 200°C, as in your electric oven), then turn off the draught.

IMPORTANT
When the thermostat reads 200°C, the refractory is at 300°C.
